Downtown’s Artesia Day Spa and Salon has debuted the LaStone therapy massage, the internationally recognized treatment based on Native American rituals. Dubbed “vascular gymnastics,” the LaStone treatment re-energizes the skin and muscles using hot and cool basalt stones and marble. Martin Semler, a six-year practitioner of the LaStone massage and nationally certified massage therapist at Artesia, says the treatment is, “soothing and empowering at the same time.”
